Arsenal players celebrate at Sober Realty Training Center after being crowned Premier League champions. The Gunners were officially confirmed as champions after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
City needed a win at the Vitality Stadium to keep their title race going on the final day, but they were unable to deliver a winner as Erling Haaland scored an equalizer in stoppage time. Arsenal players and staff gathered at the club’s training ground to watch the match unfold on the south coast.<\/p>\n
And as soon as the final whistle sounded at the Vitality Stadium, Arsenal’s players and staff celebrated wildly after their status as champions was confirmed. Footage shared by the club showed players from Mikel Arteta’s side jumping around.<\/p>\n

Some members were seen breaking into small groups and hugging each other. But soon everyone was jumping up and down and singing, “Campeones, campeones, ole ole ole ole.”<\/p>\n
Members of the Arsenal team also posed for photos with cardboard cutouts of the Premier League trophy. The Gunners will be presented with the real deal after Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n

Declan Rice posted a photo with his team-mates on Instagram with the caption: “I told you all…it’s over.” Meanwhile, former Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, who led the team to their last title in 2004, posted a congratulatory post on social media.<\/p>\n

Former Gunners goalkeeper David Seaman told X: “Premier League Champions!!! What a moment!!! What a season!!!!!!!!! Best!!!!!!!!!!! Longest three minutes of my life (22 years)…”<\/p>\n

Man City manager Josep Guardiola also congratulated his former assistant Arteta, saying: “I have to congratulate Arsenal, Mikel, the backroom staff and the fans for the Premier League.”<\/p>\n
“We wanted to arrive at the last moment. We were tired today. Bournemouth had 12 days to prepare. The fresh players didn’t have enough of an impact.”<\/p>\n

“We have fought a lot and we are preparing for next season. We are always talking to the club, but it is different now. The first thing you have to understand is that you have to talk to the president first.”<\/p>\n
“We will discuss this in the next few days. First we have to discuss with the chairman what needs to be done.”<\/p>\n
Reacting to Arsenal’s win, former Gunners forward Alan Smith said: “Great! No surprise. They’ve had the best defense, they haven’t had the best attack, but as a whole unit Mikel Arteta has done incredibly well.”<\/p>\n

“I was really worried about the last day’s game at Palace…I’m so happy!”<\/p>\n
Before that, he added: “When you haven’t won for a long time you need tense moments and Arsenal had that. But now I hope they can play freely. It feels like the Champions League final is a free hit now.”<\/p>\n
The Gunners will aim to win their first Champions League in the final against Paris Saint-Germain later this month, potentially completing a historic double for the club. However, the title win ended a six-year drought without a trophy and is Arteta’s second major honor after winning the FA Cup in 2020.<\/p>\n
