Barcelona reached 91 points <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">Retained the title with a 2-0 win over Real Madrid<\/span> on sunday. <\/p>\n<p>Flick said he was &#8220;really happy&#8221; with the extension until the end of the 2027-2028 season (his current contract was due to expire after next season). Both parties have an option to extend for another year. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey gave me and my team the confidence to work for another year or two,\u201d he said. &#8220;I&#8217;m really grateful. I&#8217;ll go in &#8217;28 and then we&#8217;ll see. If everything goes right, I&#8217;ll make the decision to get another year. The club has the rights, I have the rights, and I think it&#8217;s a good deal. It&#8217;s a really good deal for me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>100 points<\/h2>\n<p>Barcelona visit Alaves on Wednesday with a goal of 100 points in mind.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The team and I want 100 points, and for that we have to win the remaining three games,&#8221; Flick said. <\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;Right place&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>Flick and <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">His father died before Sunday&#8217;s Clasico against Madrid<\/span>He previously said he had no intention of coaching again after his spell at Barcelona ends. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The last few days they showed me that I&#8217;m in the right place,&#8221; Flick said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He joined Barcelona in May 2024, replacing Xavi Hern\u00e1ndez.
