Liverpool are one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing Jarrod Bowen this summer. The Reds are in need of attacking talent to fill Mohamed Salah’s void ahead of next season.<\/p>\n
Hugo Ekitike is also expected to miss most of next season with an Achilles tendon injury. And it looks like another Premier League star could be on their radar.<\/p>\n
According to the Mail Online, Liverpool are long-time fans of West Ham winger Bowen and could be open to a move. Merseyside rivals Everton are also believed to be interested, with manager David Moyes keen to reunite with his former forward.<\/p>\n
Newcastle could also consider signing Bowen as they look for a replacement for Anthony Gordon, who has attracted interest from German giants Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

Bowen is likely to leave West Ham if the London club are relegated to the Championship. The Hammers are currently 18th in the table, two points clear of safety with two games left in the season.<\/p>\n
Bowen joined West Ham from Hull City in 2020, making 278 appearances and scoring 84 goals. The player’s contract runs until 2030, but it is thought he could be allowed to leave for around \u00a360 million if West Ham drop into the second tier.<\/p>\n
Speaking about his time at West Ham, the 29-year-old said: “It’s been six years since I’ve been here in January and it’s been really, really crazy. There’s been a lot of good and a lot of bad, but to be honest I’ve loved every minute of it.”<\/p>\n

“And, you know, I hope there’s more games to come. Getting to 500 (appearances) would be something, but I’m trying to figure out how old I have to be to figure it all out, you know? We’ll see how the legs hold up over the next seven years or so.”<\/p>\n
Former West Ham and Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has insisted he could stay even if West Ham are relegated, despite hints that he could leave. “I think so. He’s been linked with other clubs, potentially bigger clubs, but that never happened,” he said.<\/p>\n
“For whatever reason, he didn’t want it or the club didn’t want it enough. So I think he has a chance to stay there and become a legend at the club.”<\/p>\n
“They’re a big family at West Ham, obviously a nice family. So to think about spending potentially the worst two or three years of my career elsewhere and losing that, I’d rather stay here.”<\/p>\n
