“I feel like I’m properly preparing for every game. I had the chance to put the ball behind the net in the final, and that’s what I did,” she added. \u201cBut I try not to think about it or put pressure on it, I just get out there and do what I can for the team and give it all absolutely everything.<\/p>\n
Manchester United star Tone has played in her third major tournament and has the perfect record to reach the final. After beating Germany in 2022, the Lioness lost 1-0 to Spain in the 2023 World Cup final.<\/p>\n
But even now, Toone still feels the same pride when she pulls an English shirt. “It’s just a sense of pride. Every time I pull an English shirt, it’s just pride,” she said.<\/p>\n
“It was something I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. I’ve always wanted to play in England and go to big tournaments. It’s very special to represent your country.<\/p>\n

“I still need to pinch myself. That’s an amazing feeling. I have a strange cap of 50 now, but every time I feel the same as when I pulled it for the first time.<\/p>\n
“When you pull an English shirt, you’re proud of your country. You want to fight for each other and for the fans. Every time we pull it, we have this sense of freedom and belief. It never changes.”<\/p>\n
