He was not selected to represent North America in 2026, and FIFA selected fellow German Felix Zweier. <\/p>\n<p>Sievert worked at the last two European Championships, taking charge of a total of five matches.<\/p>\n<h2>Other UEFA club finals<\/h2>\n<p>Sweden&#8217;s Tess Olofsson will be the referee for the Women&#8217;s Champions League final between Barcelona and OL Lyon. The match will take place on May 23rd in Oslo, Norway. Olofsson competed in the women&#8217;s final at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where she won. <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">USA vs. Brazil 1-0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>French referee Fran\u00e7ois Letexier, who was in charge of the men&#8217;s referee for the Euro 2024 final, has been selected by UEFA to referee the Europa League final. Aston Villa will play Freiburg in Istanbul on May 20th.<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s Maurizio Mariani will be the referee for the Conference League final between Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano, to be held in Leipzig, Germany on May 27th.
