Arsenal fans will have to pay a staggering \u00a315,000 to reach the Champions League final.<\/p>\n
Ticket resale sites are already selling seats for the European show in Budapest on May 30th for \u00a36,160. After Arsenal qualified for the final, which will be held at the 67,000-capacity Ferenc Puskas Stadium, even low-cost airlines saw the price of a one-way ticket exceed \u00a33,000.<\/p>\n
In Budapest, where Arsenal play Paris Saint-Germain at the weekend, some hotels can cost more than \u00a32,500 per night, meaning the trip will cost a whopping \u00a315,000.<\/p>\n
UEFA has urged fans not to buy tickets from resale sites, and Arsenal season ticket holders will take part in voting for the official sale of 16,824 tickets allocated to the Gunners. Ticket prices range from \u00a360 to \u00a3800, but these are tickets sold through official channels.<\/p>\n

And with Arsenal and UEFA realistically unable to do anything about rising costs, fans still face huge bills and huge challenges to get to Budapest. Arsenal and PSG both have huge fan bases and are in high demand, but those without tickets will also be going to Budapest, with Declan Rice even saying he thinks 200,000 supporters could make the trip.<\/p>\n
Arsenal are holding a screening at the Emirates, with kick-off at 5pm UK time on Saturday, but demand will likely be high. Gunners fans are currently sweating out ticket voting, which began on Thursday, but competition has sent demand and prices through the roof.<\/p>\n
But even the few season ticket holders who do get tickets to the finals will face significant travel costs and disruption when traveling. UEFA insists fans will need to download an app to prove their identity and has warned fans not to buy tickets from unofficial ticket resellers as they will be refused entry if detected.<\/p>\n

UEFA has issued the following guidance: “UEFA strongly urges all football fans not to purchase tickets or hospitality packages from unauthorized sellers, agents or websites, as any tickets obtained in violation of UEFA’s Terms and Conditions will be void and the purchaser of such tickets may be refused entry to the stadium.”<\/p>\n
\u201cTo keep tickets in the hands of genuine fans, UEFA will introduce additional measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized resale of the 2026 UEFA Men’s Club Final.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs part of the lottery process, applicants will be ranked and selected applicants will need to download the UEFA Mobile Ticket app and register it on the mobile phone they will use to enter the stadium in order to remain in the lottery process.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe winner will need to use this registered mobile phone to access the stadium on the day of the match as the purchaser’s ticket is non-transferable.<\/p>\n

“Based on these anti-transfer provisions, ticket purchasers who are unable to attend may resell their tickets at face value through the official UEFA resale platform without any sales fees. Access to purchase resale tickets will only be granted to selected fans who are not drawn.”<\/p>\n
The Arsenal Supporters Trust said: “Due to the low allocation of tickets in Budapest, we encouraged Arsenal to screen the game at home at the Emirates. Good collaboration with the club was an important thing to offer our supporters. Up to 35,000 people are now expected to attend with very fair admission prices.”<\/p>\n
“AST has been campaigning for years for UEFA to treat fans of competing finalists better, dating back to the Baku debacle. There have been some improvements, but it is disappointing that only 17,000 tickets have been allocated this year.”<\/p>\n
“We have also raised this with Arsenal, who have said they will pass this on to UEFA. However, the issue remains the same this year. UEFA needs to remember that it is the fans who support the competition through the group stages and knockout rounds, and they need to respect our position more when planning for the final.”<\/p>\n
