(AP) &#8211; Luis Suarez got a winning penalty kick, and Intermiami gathered to beat Necakisa in the League Cup on Saturday night after losing Lionel Messi <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">Hamstring injury<\/span> At the opening.<\/p>\n<p>There was Jordi Alba <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">Set goals<\/span> In a header that went 2-2 in two minutes of stop time to force Intermiami&#8217;s 5-4 win.<\/p>\n<p>Intermiami converted all five of the penalty kicks, with goalkeeper Roccolios Nononovo denying Thomas Badaroni in the third round of the shootout. He indicated that Messi will be tested on Sunday to determine the severity of his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s probably something there,&#8221; Maschelano said through an interpreter.<\/p>\n<p>Intermiami played guys for a lot of restrictions after Maxi Falcon was kicked out with a red card in the opening minutes. Necaxa defender Cristian Calder\u00f3n was sent off on the 60th after being shown a second yellow card, so both clubs played alongside the remaining 10 men.<\/p>\n<p>Telasco Segovia moved ahead by his side 1-0 minutes after Messi left the feed from Intermiami rookie Rodrigo DePaul. Saturday&#8217;s victory gave Intermiami five points, with the heron sitting on the MLS table, but there will be a few more matches for the rest of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament is split between the MLS and Liga MX teams.
