He also led Dortmund to the Champions League final in 2024, but they lost to Real Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>Terzic previously worked in Dortmund&#8217;s youth organization and was an assistant coach at West Ham in England and Besiktas in Turkey. He will leave Dortmund at the end of the 2023-24 season.<\/p>\n<p>Terzic would do that. <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\">Successor to Ernesto Valverde<\/span>He will leave Athletic at the end of the season. Valverde coached the most matches in the history of the Basque club.<\/p>\n<p>Athletic currently sit 8th in La Liga with four matches remaining.
