Marcus Rashford is expected to leave Manchester United this summer after impressing on loan at Barcelona, \u200b\u200bbut a permanent move to the La Liga giants is not guaranteed.<\/h2>\n

Bayern Munich are not among the clubs looking to move Manchester United academy product Marcus Rashford this summer despite impressing during his loan spell at Barcelona. The England star spent the La Liga season with Hansi Flick’s side, who have an option to sign the 28-year-old this summer.<\/p>\n
The transfer fee is expected to be around \u00a326m, but Barca are said to be looking to take Rashford on loan for a further season in order to secure him for a reduced fee in the summer of 2027. His current contract at Old Trafford runs until 2028, and he will enter the final year of his contract at the end of next season.<\/p>\n
Rashford has been linked with several top teams due to his impressive performances for the Catalan club, coupled with their apparent reluctance to push for a permanent deal this summer. Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern have been named in recent weeks, but BILD journalist Christian Falk insists he has no interest in the German giants.<\/p>\n

He said Bayern were focused on signing Anthony Gordon and that his agent would arrive in Germany early this week to thwart a potential move to the Bundesliga. Newcastle have set their offer for Gordon at \u00a380m, with Bayern reportedly seeking a deal closer to \u00a360m.<\/p>\n
Rashford would be a more economical option and Vincent Kompany’s side have alternative targets besides Gordon, but the United forward is not one of them. The Barcelona loanee has also made it clear that his ambition is to secure his ‘dream’ permanent move to Camp Nou this summer.<\/p>\n
Rashford said in an interview with Sport earlier this season: “I’ve settled in very well at the club and the city. From the moment I arrived I felt very welcome.”<\/p>\n
“For me, the reason I’m here is to help the team win trophies. Last season was great, but life moves so fast and things change. And the goal is to repeat those successes. I’m completely focused on that.”<\/p>\n

“Everything has been great with the staff and my teammates. I have no complaints. Of course, what I want is to stay at Bar\u00e7a. That is the ultimate goal, but that is not the reason why I am training so hard and giving my all.<\/p>\n
“The aim is to win. Bar\u00e7a is a huge, great club built to win titles. There is pressure here, but it’s not negative pressure. It’s the kind of pressure you crave as a player, the kind of thing I want as a footballer and always want.”<\/p>\n
“You can’t be in a place where there are no high expectations. For me, it’s difficult to stay motivated and give my best at a club where the demands are not at their peak.<\/p>\n
“I’m in the perfect place and environment to continue my journey as a soccer player, so I want to do my best every day and help the team win. Let’s see what happens next summer.”<\/p>\n
