Newcastle star Alexander Isaac is firmly on Liverpool’s radar, revealing that the Swedes have previously worshipped play at Anfield. Since moving to England in 2022, he has not had a limited opportunity to play for Merseyside, but it has left an impression.<\/p>\n
Isaac scored in his first appearance early in his Newcastle days, and the Reds are preparing a bid for another club record to seduce the striker. Liverpool has already spent more than \u00a3200 million this summer, but is understood to be ready to test Newcastle’s resolve.<\/p>\n
The Times claims Newcastle is backed by an official offer from Liverpool. Liverpool could be in the \u00a3130 million region as they are about to land one of Europe’s most popular strikers.<\/p>\n
Isaac has never expressed his desire to leave Newcastle, but it is still unclear if he is turning his head. He played against Liverpool when he won the Carabao Cup at Wembley last year, but ran for years on his contract at St. James Park.<\/p>\n
The striker’s move calls for a second time to break the move record from England in the weeks when Liverpool had already signed Florian Wiltz, but Isaac’s words may give them some encouragement.<\/p>\n

He said: “There aren’t many places like St James Park. The atmosphere is very special and I think you can judge the stadium not only the atmosphere, but how difficult it is to come as an away team. It’s a special place. I think people have a hard time coming to the stadium.”<\/p>\n
He also highlighted his admiration for Liverpool’s iconic status since the Swedes were not declared. He said: “I say Anfield is probably there too,” Isaac added. “The atmosphere is really good. It’s probably the toughest away game.”<\/p>\n

Newcastle claims that top players are not on sale, making it easier to keep them after a season when they won the trophy and returned to the Champions League. Isaac, like Anthony Gordon and Bruno Guimar\u00e8s, was tied to past moves, but the club is not planning to sell in the pursuit of Hugo Echicicke, which highlights their ambitions, and wants to strengthen their ranks.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, Eddie Howe admitted that he would not give Newcastle any guarantees as to who will be in the new season. The manager said in May: “I will never make those guarantees about players. That has nothing to do with Alex’s future, I’m stupid to sit here and do something like that.”<\/p>\n
