LEVERKUSEN, Germany (AP) – Harry Kane and Luis Diaz fired Bayern Munich to a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday and a place in the German Cup final.<\/p>\n
Kane’s first-half goal (his 52nd in all competitions for the club this season) and Dias’ stoppage-time goal were enough for Bayern to advance to the final against Stuttgart or Freiburg on 23 May at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.<\/p>\n
This will be Bayern’s first appearance in the final since their victory. Defending champions Stuttgart host Freiburg on Thursday. The semi-final was postponed for a day because Bayern, Stuttgart and Freiburg played Bundesliga games on Sunday, but the latter are in the Europa League and will face Braga in the semi-final.<\/p>\n
