Bruno Fernandes has had a great season at Manchester United and is on track to qualify for the Champions League thanks to his goals and assists.<\/h2>\n

Manchester United superstar Bruno Fernandes is said to be worthy of winning the Ballon d’Or. However, former United favorite Gary Pallister is concerned about Fernandes’ absence as he no longer plays for one of Europe’s elite clubs.<\/p>\n
Fernandes has continued to be an outstanding player for United this season. The Portuguese midfielder scored eight goals and provided 18 assists to help United qualify for the Champions League.<\/p>\n
And Pallister told BetBrain: “Bruno Fernandes still has the will and desire to compete at the top level. He could have made a big deal last year and gone to Saudi Arabia, but instead he is firmly established in the hearts of all Manchester United fans.”<\/p>\n
“He has always shone since he joined the club. If he had played for Manchester City, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, he would have gone on the shelf to win the Ballon d’Or. He is that good.”<\/p>\n

“For many years he has played in teams below Manchester United’s level, but he has always stood out from the rest. Qualifying for the Champions League will be a big motivation for Bruno to continue performing at his current level.”<\/p>\n
“If the right additions are made in the summer, I see no reason why the club cannot challenge for the Premier League title, especially if Bruno remains at the core of the team.”<\/p>\n
Fernandes’ 18 assists means he needs just three more to break the Premier League single-season assists record. Caretaker manager Michael Carrick praised his captain after the 31-year-old scored a vital goal against Chelsea on Saturday.<\/p>\n

“His influence has been immense for some time, and he’s carried that through to the end,” Carrick told TNT Sports after the game. \u201cHe has played most of the games, he is fit and he is hungry.<\/p>\n
“He had to make a big change down the stretch and he was happy to do it for the team. He’s a great character and he’s captain for a reason.<\/p>\n
“Sometimes he leads by example and shows the way. He is very vocal and has a great presence on the pitch. He has been an important part of this club over the last few years.”<\/p>\n
Fernandes will aim to continue his form next Monday night when United host Brentford.<\/p>\n
