And Mainu is said to be willing to sign a long-term deal worth \u00a3120,000-a-week to keep him at Old Trafford until 2031.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The news represents a surprising turn in fortunes for Mainu, who turned 21 on Sunday. Just a few months ago, Mainu was set to leave United and join Napoli on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Mainu was fed up with life at Old Trafford as former manager Reuben Amorim refused to appoint him.
