Manchester United have been moving in the summer transfer window, but it doesn’t seem to be over yet.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The club has completed signing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, but Ruben Amorim is reportedly still looking to bring strikers to Old Trafford ahead of the upcoming season.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

But which player should sign? That’s where we’re coming.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For Man UTD signing Jackson<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

When it comes to Jackson, it’s easy to understand some pointlessness. Some of the mistakes are bad and some of the target drought is too long. There are no two ways to do that.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But with Jackson, you are betting on the possibilities and what he is. Jackson scored 30 goals for Chelsea in all competitions over two seasons in London. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

That may not sound spectacular given the reported fees, but we should consider it effectively taking into account that Jackson has only played three full seasons of top division elite football as a striker.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Not only did Jackson organize football late, but he also split his time as a left fielder and striker for much of his early career. He had to go from Villarreal, a very small town team, to one of the world’s largest cities and clubs, and play as the only striker in the middle of a massive reconstruction. That’s a big adjustment. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He did it brilliantly, taking into account the situation, especially when he thinks he’s had three managers in three years. Every season, he had to adapt to new tactical styles, in addition to learning new positions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He also brings other aspects as forwards. In particular, he is a great creator of his teammates. He registered five assists in both his two Premier League seasons, showing that he is excellent at transition. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you think Bruno Fernandez, Cunha and Mbeumo are potential 10th place to play behind him, is it really important for him to experience drought if they score regularly like they did in the previous season? <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Part of the reason Jackson’s struggle was focused this season is because other Chelsea attackers also struggled to score. In theory, United should not have that problem.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is also worth noting how Amorim improved as a scoring person like Gyoker. Yes, Gyoker scored a Coventry goal before joining Sporting CP, but that was under the goals of all other games. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Under Amorim, Gyoker has almost moved to the goal A game. There are a few caveats here, but improvements are obvious. Why couldn’t that happen in Jackson?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Jackson’s build-up and transition play is underrated and could be something Amorim loves, especially for the scorers around him. He is still very young and has grown not only as a striker but also as a professional soccer player.<\/div>\n

For Man Utd signing Sesko<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

Anyone who signs at the end of the transfer window will likely not be better than Manchester City striker Ehring Haaland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sesko is physically imposing, 6 feet 5 inches tall, with incredible speed in the open field, an absolutely devastating right-foot shot that looks like a spring of his feet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Certainly, Slovenia International hasn’t developed as much as he expected in his second year with RB Leipzig, but keeping his numbers in front of goal is not a small feat, given that the team has struggled in the worst season when it comes to offensive in the Vandesliga since being promoted to Germany’s top flight in 2016.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sesco may not be the biggest star of the current team, but in the 2024\/25 campaign, the output of the more hyped Xavi Simons and Lois Openda fell considerably, while Sesko improved slightly on 2023\/24 with 21 goals and 6 assists in 45 games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Contrary to the absolutely horrifying season background by Leipzig, all I can do is imagine what his numbers would be like if his teammates actually performed. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Overall, Sesko is a safe bet that could become an absolute superstar, not just the upper floors, especially in the Premier League.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Given what Gyoker has been under Amorim, Sesko is very similar to the Swedish striker and should be the main target for Red Devils this summer, as prices may have been reduced due to a weak campaign from Leipzig last season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
He is the closest player to Erling in terms of physical attributes. Sesko was the only Leipzig player last season to produce consistent output.<\/div>\n

For Man Utds signing Watkins<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

This summer, Manchester United’s transfer strategy focuses on introducing proven players to the Premier League, and the likes of Cunha and Mbeumo will continue to do so as to get through the doors and sign Watkins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The club can’t afford to gamble any more when it comes to signing a striker, and the Aston Villa man represents a smart business move.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 29-year-old has established himself as one of the most consistent strikers in the Premier League during his time at Villa Park. In his final three seasons, Watkins scored at least 15 league goals, and his highest tally appeared when he scored 19 goals in the 2023\/24 campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

United have gambled about possibilities in the past and mixed results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Watkins was dropped by Villa boss Unai Emery last season in some of the club’s biggest UEFA Champions League matches, and was in the spotlight after John Duran and Marcus Rashford chose to go ahead of him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, Watkins showed that he still had fire in his belly, saying he didn’t start a second-legged tie in the villa with Paris Saint-Germain, publicly stating that he was “smoking” and responded with goals and assists in the next match.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Watkins also showed that he can deliver goods on the biggest stage against the best team. He scored six times in 10 league matches against Liverpool and Arsenal, but was hit five times against Newcastle and three times against Tottenham in his time in the Premier League.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He also proved decisive on the international stage with his stop-time victory goal, leading England to the Euro final last summer. And if Watkins is given time to influence the final, we know if the three Lions won the tournament.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Amorim’s side is in a position where they need a striker who can score 20 goals in the league. No player has achieved this feat for the club since Robin Van Persy in 2012\/13.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With Bruno, Cunya, Mbeumo and Amado feeding him all season, Watkins was able to unite at the table and become the perfect player to regain the “Good Times” as he promised last season to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
