Manchester United reportedly held talks with Nicholas Jackson agents to explore the potential for the Chelsea striker’s move. United are about to overhaul their team in the summer transfer window and want to sign a striker for Reuben Amorim.<\/p>\n
United have already signed Matthews Cunya for \u00a362.5 million from the wolves, and is approaching announcing the \u00a3700 million capture of Brian Mbeumo from Brentford. Mbeumo will be required to receive medical care on Sunday and sign in time to join United on the US preseason tour, but the club has not yet been in the transfer period.<\/p>\n
They tried to hijack Viktor Gyoker’s move from Sport Lisbon to Arsenal in a Last Gasp bid. According to a Portugal report, United submitted a value of between 70-80 million euros (600-690,000 pounds).<\/p>\n
Amorim wants a centre forward to provide the competition for Rasmus Hojlund, who managed just 10 goals in 52 games in all competitions last season. And United are scrutinizing the market for opportunities, and BBC Sports reports that a meeting has been held with Jackson’s agent Ali Bharat.<\/p>\n

Jackson suddenly finds himself in a difficult position at Chelsea this summer, signing Liam Dellup and Joa Pedro. Both made a positive impression with the Blues’ successful Club World Cup campaign, with Jackson considering his options.<\/p>\n
Recent reports suggest that Chelsea are not particularly keen to sell Senegal International. They slapped a price tag of \u00a3100 million at the age of 24. He is a centre forward as he won the Conference League in 2024\/25 after completing Enzo Maresca’s fourth.<\/p>\n
In true Chelsea fashion, Jackson was on a contract until June 2033, signing in 2023 from Villarreal for \u00a332 million. He has 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 games for the club, but despite his connection to playmaker Cole Palmer, he is considered inconsistent in front of goals.<\/p>\n

AC Milan and Aston Villa are also linked to Jackson, and Football London reports that they will be sold if the appropriate offer comes. That’s because they spent a total of \u00a385 million on Delap and Pedro, partly due to their impact in the US. There is also the issue of Jackson’s recent disciplinary record. He was sent twice in the last five games.<\/p>\n
United’s interest in Jackson is interesting. Because Chelsea has been linked to Alejandro Garnacho’s move this summer. Garnacho is part of United’s so-called “bomb squad” that also includes Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.<\/p>\n
Amorim isolates five players as they want movement elsewhere, and Garnacho is the most valuable of the group. Rumors surrounding Garnacho quieted as Rashford set off for Barcelona on loan and Sancho headed for Juventus.<\/p>\n
The Argentine winger was originally linked to Naples, but was postponed to United’s \u00a370 million asking price. However, Chelsea has just sold Noni Madueke to Arsenal for \u00a352 million and is in the market for wingers who chose not to sign Sancho following the loan spell.<\/p>\n
