City’s title win accelerates<\/h2>\n
With Arsenal at the worst of times, City have won three in a row since defeating Chelsea.<\/p>\n
This victory follows against Arsenal in the English League Cup final and last week’s FA Cup victory over Liverpool (4-0).<\/p>\n
All three results were in different competitions, but there is an eerie feel to City’s charge, which twice saw them chase down Arsenal’s lead and win the title in 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n

This result did not allow Chelsea to qualify for the Champions League, leaving them four points behind fifth-placed Liverpool.<\/p>\n
