BOURNEMOUTH, England (AP) \u2014 Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams is set to return from a quadriceps injury for the Cherries’ game against Premier League leaders Arsenal on Saturday.<\/p>\n

27 year old American star Missed Bournemouth’s last two games<\/span> Two US friendlies were also played during the international break.<\/p>\n

Adams, who will captain the U.S. team at the 2022 World Cup, told club media that he was “feeling strong and ready.”<\/p>\n

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola confirmed on Friday that Adams is available and “in a good position”.<\/p>\n

Adams said his stay in Bournemouth for rehabilitation “gave me a period to get stronger, fitter and focus on my goals with the boys we have here”.<\/p>\n

“I’m feeling stable and feeling strong right now. I think it’s important to finish the season on a strong note,” Adams said. MCL tear<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth completed an 11-game unbeaten run against North London in the Premier League. The Cherries last lost in the league on 3 January, when they lost 3-2 at home to Arsenal.<\/p>\n

The team is in 13th place with seven games left in the season.<\/p>\n

Iraola said the forward was the only injured player at Bournemouth as of Friday morning. Justin Kluivert<\/span> and midfielder Lewis Cook.<\/p>\n

“We may even have to make difficult decisions because there are probably more than 20 people ready to travel,” Iraola said.<\/p>\n
