Watson, 30, was treated for a concussion at the stadium before being taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital A&#038;E.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Physiotherapists from both teams were seen treating the shot-stopper, with proceedings significantly delayed due to the injury. Watson was stretchered off the field, but Darlington&#8217;s side lost 2-1 to their National League North rivals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>It was later confirmed that Watson was seen by a doctor at the hospital and released later that night. Watson is currently resting at home as he will be forced to miss Monday&#8217;s game against South Shields due to concussion regulations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Darlington were therefore looking for an emergency goalkeeper to replace the York City loanee. &#8220;We would like to update everyone on the concussion situation of Rory Watson,&#8221; the club said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;Rory suffered an accident during the first half of yesterday&#8217;s game and was helped from the field and taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital emergency room. After precautionary tests and x-rays, no injuries were detected and Rory was discharged from hospital later that evening.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;He is now resting at home. We will all be relieved to hear this news and I am sure his supporters will join us in wishing him all the best for his recovery. I would also like to thank Darlington physiotherapist Luke Roberts, Scarborough physiotherapists and all the staff at Darlington Memorial Hospital for their care and support.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;Due to concussion regulations, Rory will miss at least Monday&#8217;s game against South Shields. Following discussions with the league, we are currently considering the option of calling up an emergency goalkeeper. Get well soon, Rory.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Darlington are currently seventh in the National League North, one point ahead of fellow North East side Spennymoor.
