FA<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n“As a national sports governing body, our role is to ensure that as many people as possible have access to football as possible, as it operates in accordance with international soccer laws and policies defined by UEFA and FIFA. The current policy that transgender women are based on this principle and supported by legal experts, the FA said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Because of this definition, the English FA considers compliance with those stipulated by the court. Therefore, from June 1st, transgender women will not be able to play women’s soccer in the UK’s professional leagues.<\/p>\n

FA<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n“This is a complicated issue, and our position is always to review and change the way law, science, or the way grassroots football is run, if necessary. The Supreme Court decision on April 16 means that our policies will change and trans women will not be able to play women’s football in the UK from June 1,” the FA announced.<\/p>\n
According to data from the English Football Association, there are 20 trans women registered in amateur soccer in the UK, but none in professional soccer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
