Earlier this season, the England forward was sanctioned for being two minutes late for a team meeting, which resulted in him being demoted to the substitute bench in the La Liga game against Getafe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Reports suggested his security pass had failed, but he was left out of the starting XI. Coach Flick had ordered his players to attend a meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the match, followed by an &#8220;activation session&#8221; from 11 a.m. However, a source close to Rashford confirmed that Rashford did not turn up until 9:32am, forcing Flick to apply a strict timekeeping policy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The German coach is known for his uncompromising approach to lateness, with players routinely excluded for being even a minute or two late.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Flick replaced him with the forward trio of Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres and Rafinha, who won 3-0 at the Camp Nou.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>According to the Daily Mail, Rashford has taken steps to ensure this doesn&#8217;t happen again and is now arriving 30 minutes early.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p data-mce-linkchecker-status=\"valid\">The forward is adapting well in Spain after a difficult period under former United manager Ruben Amorim.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>He was sacked by the Portuguese manager, resulting in a brief spell at Aston Villa, before securing a season-long loan to the Spanish powerhouse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>His loan contract is now nearing an end and Bar\u00e7a have an option to complete the move for \u00a326 million, but his long-term prospects remain very uncertain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>According to reports, the La Liga giants will not make a decision until the end of the campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>As for a potential return to Old Trafford, the report adds that even if United&#8217;s structure changes, a summer reunion is by no means guaranteed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>His \u00a3325,000-a-week salary does not &#8220;fit comfortably&#8221; into the existing Old Trafford framework, which relies primarily on performance-related contracts with reduced base pay.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>It has also been highlighted that if a permanent move to Camp Nou does not materialize, there remains the possibility of a loan elsewhere, which with the World Cup looming, could be an important opportunity to attract future buyers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/sport\/football\/2188099\/Marcus-Rashford-Barcelona-England-Man-Utd\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marcus Rashford, on loan from Manchester United, has made a major change following a disciplinary action from Barcelona manager Hansi Flick.
