This is the first part of our farewell.&#8221; &#8220;I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of this season. First of all, I would like to say that I never imagined that this club, this city and these people would become a part of my life. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Liverpool, it&#8217;s more than just a football club. It&#8217;s passion. It&#8217;s history. It&#8217;s spirit. Words can&#8217;t explain it to anyone who isn&#8217;t part of this club. Salah won his second league title in 2025 under manager Arne Slott.<\/p>\n<p>Salah said: &#8220;I would like to thank everyone who has been part of this club throughout my time here, especially my teammates past and present.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And to all my fans, I have no words for the support you showed me during the best times of my career and for standing by me during the most difficult times. That is something I will never forget and will always carry with me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"wrap-anywhere typo-tk-rs-body-md text-content-block-default-text-fill-01\" data-testid=\"body-paragraph\">&#8220;Mohamed Salah will end his distinguished career at Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season,&#8221; Liverpool said in a statement to X.<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe time to fully celebrate his achievements and accomplishments will be later this year when he bids farewell to Anfield.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The club added: &#8220;Out of respect and gratitude to our supporters, Salah has expressed his wish to make this announcement to his supporters at the earliest opportunity to provide transparency about his future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Salah has played in 22 Premier League games this season, scoring five goals and providing six assists, with 10 goals and nine assists in all competitions. <\/p>\n<p>Salah said: &#8220;It&#8217;s never easy to leave. You gave me the best time of my life and I will always be one of you.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For me and for my family, this club will always be my home. Thank you for everything.
