Hugo Moshagen, an aspiring soccer player, plays for Sweden’s fourth-division team BK Forward and dreams of success in soccer.

His club and loved ones are currently mourning after he was murdered in Orebro. Police were called to the incident in a residential area in the city’s west just before midnight on Saturday. The young player was then taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Sun reports that Moshagen has no known gang ties and that his parents are devastated by the shooting. The keeper was the eldest of three children and is said to have liked going to church.

Later, his father, Joachim Gunnarsson, responded to the news in an interview with the Swedish newspaper Expressen. “His big dream was to be a professional soccer player.
