That gave us peace of mind,&#8221; Navas told a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>Pumas, one of Mexico&#8217;s four most popular teams, are aiming to win their first league title since Clausura in 2011. In this tournament, the team is ranked 5th after completing 11 of the 17 regular season rounds. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My family is doing well. &#8216;Efra&#8217; (coach) and I are doing well. It&#8217;s a great group to work with,&#8221; added the Costa Rican goalkeeper.<\/p>\n<p>Pumas did not disclose financial terms of the deal. The extension period is one year, with the possibility of an additional one year extension.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Big projects don&#8217;t happen overnight. I&#8217;ve been involved in some myself and I know what&#8217;s needed,&#8221; the goalkeeper said. \u201cYou guys always dream of being champions and I hope I can give it to the fans who deserve it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Navas made his professional debut with Saprissa in Costa Rica in 2005 and began his European career four years later with Albacete.
