Mauricio Pochettino earned just over $5 million in his first seven months as coach of the U.S. national team, according to U.S. Soccer Federation tax returns.<\/p>\n

Pochettino announced as Greg Berhalter’s replacement<\/span> It paid taxes on Sept. 10, 2024 and received $5,016,917 for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, according to its tax return released Thursday. <\/p>\n

Pochettino’s salary for this period was listed at $2,516,917 and he was given a $2.5 million bonus.<\/p>\n

Berhalter Layoff in July 2024<\/span> rear Copa America 1st round loss<\/span>It was just 10 months since he started his second stint as coach. His income for the fiscal year was $1,774,981, which included $699,148 in salary, $325,000 in bonuses, and $750,833 in severance payments.<\/p>\n

US women’s coach Emma Hayes<\/span> He earned $1,469,557, consisting of $744,557 in salary, $700,000 in bonuses, and $25,000 in other compensation.<\/p>\n

CEO JT Batson earned $898,787, with $658,787 listed as salary and $240,000 as bonus.<\/p>\n

Athletic director Matt Crocker was listed at $990,792, including a salary of $658,787, a bonus of $179,100 and a relocation allowance of $152,905. <\/p>\n

Twila Kilgore, an assistant to former women’s coach Vlatko Andonovski, earned $435,209, including a salary of $136,042, a $235,000 bonus and $64,167 in severance. Kilgore named interim head coach<\/span> Continue Andonovsky will resign in August 2023<\/span> He held that position until Mr. Hayes took over in May of the following year. Mr. Kilgore will retire in September 2024.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Several players from the women’s national team were named among USSF’s highest paid employees in the fiscal year in which the women’s team won the championship. 5th Olympic gold medal<\/span>. Emily Sonnette, Emily Fox and Naomi Girma each earned a salary of $852,112, Lindsey Heaps $849,461 and Casey Murphy $822,032, each receiving a $36,000 bonus.<\/p>\n

USSF paid $2,881,792 to Soccer United Marketing, an affiliate of Major League Soccer, and $13,395,175 to law firm Latham & Watkins for sponsorship. It also paid $2,125,209 to Brazil’s governing body for international event coordinators, $2,095,000 to Wasserman Media Group for marketing and media, and $2,095,000 to the U.S. Women’s National Team Players Association for support partnerships.<\/p>\n

Revenue increased to $268.05 million from $196.8 million in the prior year, and expenses increased to $260.1 million from $190.9 million.<\/p>\n
