Igor Tudor was brought on to make an impact. The Tudors certainly did that, but not in the way they wanted.<\/p>\n
It seems even worse now than when he took over. Tottenham’s interim manager lost just three games, taking the club close to relegation, and fans have already given up on him.<\/p>\n
Supporters left the stadium in droves at half-time, but those who remained in the stadium booed the players who pressed the self-destruct button. Tottenham led 1-0 after 34 minutes, but were 3-1 down at half-time after stand-in captain and man of the match Micky van de Ven was sent off.<\/p>\n
The ever-optimistic stadium announcer Paul Coite tried to convince fans during the break. “This game is far from over.” I don’t know if he’s fooling anyone.<\/p>\n

No wonder angry supporters attacked a club analyst sitting in the stands. “Analyze it – we are depressed.” It was difficult to agree. Fans then hurled abuse at the hierarchy in the director’s box before the start of the second half, as the place became truly toxic.<\/p>\n
But at what point will Tottenham accept that their influential manager, who has won every game he has played with his last five clubs, needs to step down if Spurs are to have any chance of staying on?<\/p>\n
Tottenham are just one point above the relegation zone, but West Ham and Nottingham Forest are showing more fight and determination to stay out of the relegation zone.<\/p>\n
Spurs were miserable and rudderless, and the players looked just as lonely as the supporters. It appears that the players have given up on the coach. They looked devastated.<\/p>\n

Tudor tried everything but nothing worked. This time, Tudor have made four changes and also let go of Conor Gallagher, Xavi Simmons, Yves Bissouma and Radu Dragusin, who were signed from the club for \u00a334m in January.<\/p>\n
Souza, Kevin Danso, Pape Sarr and Matisse Tell participated. Brazilian teenager Souza took down Daniel Mu\u00f1oz, but this looked like a huge blow as Mu\u00f1oz was sent off injured but Nathaniel Clyne came on in his place.<\/p>\n
However, Palace were well-organized and found their form again under manager Oliver Glasner, slotting the ball into the net after Ismaila Sarr’s shot deflected off Pedro Polo, but a harsh offside ruling forced VAR to intervene.<\/p>\n
I felt that was very harsh. Four minutes later, Tottenham took the lead. Archie Gray was one of the few Sours players to emerge with credit, running down the right flank and cutting the ball back for Dominic Solanke to slot home.<\/p>\n
The stadium came alive. There was hope, and Spurs fans were beginning to believe. But it lasted 4 minutes.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace were relentless and put the game out of Spurs’ reach in the first half<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
When Sarr broke into the Spurs box, Van de Ven pulled him back almost instinctively, but referee Andy Madrid had no hesitation in giving him a red card for denying him a scoring opportunity and awarding a penalty.<\/p>\n
It was a carbon copy of Sunday’s game against Manchester United, when Palace defender Maxence Lacroix was sent off and Sarr coolly stroked home to put the visitors level after 40 minutes.<\/p>\n
Palace took the lead in the first minute of stoppage time. A loose pass from Matthijs Tell gave them possession, but Evan Gesand played well and Adam Wharton slipped in to score for Jorgen Strand Larsen.<\/p>\n
Seven minutes into first-half stoppage time, the situation worsened. Wharton played a great ball between Pedro Polo and Joao Parinha, and Sarr nipped the ball past Guglielmo Vicario.<\/p>\n
To be fair to the Spurs, they actually showed some heart in the second half when their ten men dug deep and refused to give in, but it was too late and there was no way back.<\/p>\n
