Former Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson was hospitalized after suffering a horrific injury while acting for Barrow.<\/h2>\n

Former Assenal star Carl Jenkinson is grateful for the help of his doctors after being rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. The right back of League 2 side Bromley was active over the weekend when they took over Millwall.<\/p>\n
His afternoon ended prematurely as he was left in pain after trying to stop Millwall’s attack. Medical staff rushed to the pitch to treat the attacked stars fed gas and air.<\/p>\n
The game was paused while Jenkinson extended off the pitch, but was rushed to the hospital after it was revealed he had dislocated his hips. Jenkinson is now grateful for his prompt attention to his doctors while he promised to return as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
In a statement shared by Bromley, he said: “I just wanted to put something down with a big thank you to the people who helped me on Saturday: paramedics, doctors, nurses, everyone at PRU Hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is thanks to everyone at the club who has helped me over the past few days. Bromley is a very fast-growing football club, but the club’s spirit remains incredibly close and immovable.<\/p>\n

“Unfortunately, these set-offs are part of the game we love and they have to take smooth and rough. As you get a little older, you know that in sports you can always take away from you, so you’re beginning to feel grateful for the moments on the pitch.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel a deep sadness to write this knowing I will be doing some time before I can play again, but that pre-game feeling and the idea of stepping on the pitch again with the boys again, already sparking my belly to tackle this process head on.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would like to thank my teammates, guffers, coaching staff, chairman and everyone who works for Bromley for your love and support. I will do my part as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Jenkinson, now 33, played 70 times for Arsenal between 2011 and 2019. He eventually set out for Nottingham Forest, but also had a spell with the Australian side of Melbourne City and the Newcastle Jets.<\/p>\n
He signed Bromley last season and played 13 games in all competitions. Bromley will be leaving his home this Saturday to launch a League 2 campaign with Shrewsbury Town.<\/p>\n
