Following the latest Euro success, four Lionesses have been named in the UEFA tournament team.<\/p>\n
Salina Wigman’s team defended the title on a memorable Sunday evening. They ultimately beat reigning champion Spain with penalties after a 1-1 draw after an extracurricular. And now the quartet of England’s star players has been selected among the best performances of the tournament.<\/p>\n
Lioness goalkeeper Hannah Hampton proudly took the goalkeeper slot after a great tournament, saving two penalties. After the final, she gave her victory to her grandfather.<\/p>\n
“Two days before the biggest tournament of my life, you left,” Hampton wrote on Instagram. “You taught me a lot about life, not just football, but about life. about maintaining the ground, working hard, being resilient, doing things the right way.<\/p>\n
“It breaks my heart to not be able to see you leave for our country in my first major tournament… We spoke many times that you dreamed of for me. But I know, I know, you were still there.<\/p>\n

Lioness legend Lucy Bronze – who played the entire tournament with a broken tibia – is also included in the defense. She was joined by Irene Paredes, Elena Linari and Franziska Kett.<\/p>\n
Britain is dominated by the beaten finalists Spain, not representatives in the middle. Patri Guijarro, Aitani Bonmati and Alexia Putellas are all named on the side.<\/p>\n
