Coach Araujo described that game as a breaking point. The reason for this is not the expulsion itself, but the accumulation of circumstances that have continued over the years. For more than a year, he tried to appeal to the strength he learned from his origins, but his body and mind were sending him clear signals.<\/p>\n
\nI haven’t been feeling well for a long time. Not only on a sporting level, but also on a family and personal level. I didn’t feel like myself.<\/p>\n
Araujo<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\nAfter the match, once the adrenaline wore off, everything hit me at once. At that moment, he understood that he needed to raise his hand and ask for help, which is not always easy, even for an elite soccer player.<\/p>\n
The Barcelona defender has decided to slow down and focus on his mental health. During that time, he worked with professionals, received support from his family, and also found strength in spirituality. For Araujo, the break wasn’t a weakness, it was a necessity.<\/p>\n
“There was a reason why I stopped. I feel like I’m a completely different person today,” he said.<\/p>\n
