BURNLEY, England (AP) \u2014 Tottenham fans once again criticized manager Thomas Frank for putting pressure on him during his team’s resounding 2-2 draw in Saturday’s penultimate Premier League game against Burnley.<\/p>\n

After Cristian Romero’s diving header pulled one back in the 90th minute, the game ended with further chants from the Spurs traveling squad calling for Franck to be sacked.<\/p>\n

After losing 2-1 at home to West Ham, it was back to levels similar to those of last weekend, when angry Tottenham fans called for the Danish manager’s resignation.<\/p>\n

“First and foremost, I would like to thank them for traveling and supporting the team throughout the games,” Frank, who replaced Ange Postecoglou in the offseason, said of the fans. “I’m sure they will recognize and acknowledge the improvements we made, especially in the first half. We could have been invisible and we should have been.<\/p>\n

“But they also recognize the team’s will power and character to keep running and fighting to the end. We just have to keep moving forward. We’re doing a lot of things right, but there’s no doubt it won’t come down easy for us.”<\/p>\n

Tottenham’s winless record in 2026 has been extended to five games. The team is languishing in 14th place, eight points off the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

“My message to our fans is, as I’ve always said, we’re working hard to make sure everything is going in the right direction, and we’ll continue to do that,” Frank said.<\/p>\n
