Despite having already won three international titles with Portugal, Ronaldo wants to win even more, with his main goal being to win the World Cup. Former United teammate Kleberson spoke about the pressure.<\/p>\n
“He probably feels inside himself, ‘Wow, I have to win the World Cup, I can’t let my career end like this.’ You’re thinking, ‘There’s a World Cup and I’m not there.’ Same with Haaland, he might not be able to play in the World Cup. It’s inside the players, inside the elite players,” the Brazilian explained in an interview with GOAL.<\/p>\n
\nYou’re probably thinking in your mind, “Oh, I have to win the World Cup. I can’t let my career end like this.” he has to work hard. It’s not just him, it’s the other players as well.<\/p>\n
Cleverson<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\nThe Brazilian also joked about the fact that there are good players who have already won the World Cup but have yet to achieve that milestone. “Sometimes the World Cup is fair and sometimes it’s unfair. I think they look at me and think, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe Kleberson has a World Cup and I don’t!'” I don’t have five Ballons d’Or, but I won a World Cup! \u201d<\/p>\n
Kleberson recalls when he was Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate<\/h2>\n
In an interview, the former Brazilian player praised CR7, whom he met at an early age.<\/p>\n
“I met him in 2003, when I was 17 or 18 years old. I wanted to speak Portuguese and we spoke a lot. We could see what he wanted in life, and he hasn’t changed that. He still hasn’t changed. Criste. If there’s something about Diano Ronaldo, it’s mental strength. His mentality is very strong. Moreover, he takes great care of himself, his body and the way he plays,” the world champion explained.<\/p>\n
However, Kleberson also emphasized the fact that Cristiano is still a great player despite his age and has many years of career ahead of him.<\/p>\n
“If you look at him now, he’s not the Cristiano of a few years ago, but he’s still an influence… If he wants to play until he’s 50, he can do that! He’s in great shape,” the Brazilian said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
