BRIGHTON, England (AP) – Teenage substitute Sharalampos Kostouras scored with an audacious overhead kick in stoppage time to help Brighton draw 1-1 at Bournemouth on Monday.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old Greek international brought down Jan Paul van Hecke, lifted the ball to his chest and performed a perfect bicycle kick from about 10 yards out. <\/p>\n

The result extended Brighton’s unbeaten run to five games and left them 12th in the Premier League with three points, three places ahead of their south coast rivals.<\/p>\n

Fabian H\u00fcrzeler’s side started well but lost momentum in the first few minutes and Bournemouth took the lead with a controversial penalty in the 32nd minute.<\/p>\n

Brighton goalkeeper Bad Verbruggen was adjudged to have fouled Amin Adli in the box and, after a video review, Marcus Tavernier confidently took the penalty.<\/p>\n
