He will be eligible to make his club debut against Newcastle United on Sunday.<\/div>\n<div class=\"wrap-anywhere typo-tk-rs-body-md text-content-block-default-text-fill-01\" data-testid=\"body-paragraph\">&#8220;I&#8217;m really excited and really happy,&#8221; Johnson told Palace media. &#8220;Crystal Palace are a fantastic club and I have always respected them.<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a great time to be here and be a part of the journey this club is on. I\u2019m really excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Head coach Oliver Glasner added: &#8220;We&#8217;re really pleased to have Brennan join the club. He arrives very early on and I&#8217;d like to thank the club for making this happen so quickly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Brennan&#8217;s speed and scoring ability will give us options in our offensive play. He will be a valuable addition to our team in all future games.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"wrap-anywhere typo-tk-rs-body-md text-content-block-default-text-fill-01\" data-testid=\"body-paragraph\">Johnson joined Spurs from Nottingham Forest in September 2023 for a fee in excess of \u00a345 million, leaving north London two years later.<\/div>\n<p>The winger only scored five goals in his first season at the club, but finished last season as Spurs&#8217; top scorer with 18 goals.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2025, he scored the only goal in the UEFA Europa League final as Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0 in Bilbao, ending a 17-year trophy drought. <\/p>\n<p>Although a regular under former head coach Ange Postecoglou, Johnson&#8217;s role has been slightly reduced this season under manager Thomas Frank, appearing regularly off the bench, with Mohamed Kudus often playing in his place on the right wing this season.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wrap-anywhere typo-tk-rs-body-md text-content-block-default-text-fill-01\" data-testid=\"body-paragraph\">The reported \u00a335 million figure is the fourth-highest transfer fee ever paid for a Spurs player, with Johnson behind Gareth Bale, Harry Kane and Kyle Walker.<\/div>\n<p>Johnson has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season, scoring four goals. He has appeared in a total of 106 games for the club.<\/p>\n<p>The Wales international will join Palace&#8217;s quest for European honors as they finish 10th in the league phase table and head into the play-offs to decide whether they progress to the last 16 of the UEFA Conference League.<\/p>\n<p>Palace Chairman Steve Parish said: &#8220;We are delighted that Brennan has joined Crystal Palace.
