F<\/span>Ulham are reportedly preparing a big move in January to land one of the most in-form American strikers in Europe. The Premier League side have named Ricardo Pepi as their top target in attack, according to a new report, with Fulham set to test PSV Eindhoven’s resolve to sign the player worth around $54 million.<\/p>\n

The resurgence of Pepi in the Netherlands is attracting attention. The 22-year-old has already scored 10 goals in 21 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, surpassing his previous career high and on track to regain his status as one of Europe’s most productive young No.9s.<\/p>\n

Fulham see Pepi as the catalyst they need to launch an attack.<\/h2>\n

Fulham’s interest is driven not only by ambition but also by necessity. Veteran striker Lar Gimnes has scored just five goals this season and is approaching his 35th birthday, while Rodrigo Muniz has been sidelined since November with a hamstring injury. As a result, Marco Silva’s side have struggled for consistency in front of goal, scoring two or more goals in just four of their last 16 games.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail, Fulham manager views Pepi as an “exciting addition” who can inject energy and efficiency into an under-performing frontline. The Cottage looked to sign Pepi last summer and there was lingering interest from clubs such as West Ham United, but his current form at PSV Eindhoven has seen his market value rise significantly.<\/p>\n

PSV is believed to be valued at close to $54 million, a figure that could rise further if Pepi continues to score until 2026. As well as making a significant financial commitment, Fulham will need to convince Pepi that a move to England is the right next step in his development, whatever the deal.<\/p>\n

Pepi’s strong record changes things for the USMNT<\/h2>\n

For the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team, Pepi’s comeback could not have come at a better time. A knee injury limited him for much of 2025, paving the way for other forwards to flourish under manager Mauricio Pochettino. Now healthy and able to score freely, Pepi was forced back into the spotlight ahead of important international matches against Belgium and Portugal.<\/p>\n

Folarin Balogun remains the main candidate for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but the competition for the backup striker role is widening. Increased interest in the Premier League and the possibility of a high-profile transfer could give Pepi a decisive advantage over his rivals ahead of next summer.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen whether Fulham will ultimately meet PSV’s asking price. But what is clear is that Ricardo Pepi’s form has reignited his club and international potential, turning him into one of the most intriguing American talents in the European transfer market.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
