He was thrown into the air by his teammates during a celebration.<\/p>\n<p>PSG announced on Friday that Safonov had suffered a fracture in his left hand, but did not say when or how he sustained the injury, saying &#8220;his situation will be reassessed&#8221; in three to four weeks. <\/p>\n<p>Safonov, PSG&#8217;s Russian backup goalkeeper, had not played a single minute for the team until summer signing Lucas Chevalier suffered an ankle injury, which has kept him out since their last match on November 29. <\/p>\n<p>Chevalier was on the bench against Flamengo.
