The Brazilian forward broke the deadlock in the 70th minute at the Camp Nou with a shot from the top of the area. He then scored from close range with six minutes left to put the result in doubt.<\/p>\n
The win left the defending champions seven points clear of Real Madrid ahead of Sunday’s game against Alaves. For Madrid coach Xabi Alonso, this will likely be a must-win for his strong side, who have won just two of their last eight games in all competitions.<\/p>\n
Rafinha helped Barcelona win La Liga and the Copa del Rey last season, with Hansi Flick’s side also reaching the Champions League semi-finals.<\/p>\n
With Rafinha sidelined for six weeks with a foot injury earlier this season, Barcelona struggled to replace his speed and sharpness. But he came back as strong as before. He also provided an assist in a 3-1 win against Alaves in late November and scored a goal in a 3-1 win against Atl\u00e9tico Madrid earlier this month.<\/p>\n
Griezmann scores again for Atl\u00e9tico<\/h2>\n
Antoine Griezmann came off the bench to score the winning goal as fourth-placed Atl\u00e9tico defeated Valencia 2-1 and never relinquished their lead.<\/p>\n
Koke scored from a rebound in the 17th, giving Atl\u00e9tico the lead and Griezmann was brought on for Flynn Lebarez with 30 minutes remaining.<\/p>\n
Lucas Bertolne equalized for the visitors in the 63rd minute with a shot from outside the area, the Argentine striker evading a defender and firing a long shot that hit the post.<\/p>\n
Griezmann regained the lead in the 74th inning at the Metropolitano Stadium, using exquisite control to hook a long ball with the tip of his boot and fire the winning shot.<\/p>\n
Atl\u00e9tico were nine points behind Barcelona.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
