Serie A<\/span> History will continue to be controlled by the Agnelli family.<\/p>\nCryptocurrency company Tether has made an offer worth around 1 billion euros (about $1.2 billion) for a majority stake in the Agnelli family, the record holder of 36-time Italian champions.<\/p>\n
“Juventus, our history and our values \u200b\u200bare not for sale,” John Elkann, CEO of the Agnelli family’s holding company Exor, said in a video message posted on the club’s website.<\/p>\n
“Juve has been part of my family for 102 years,” Elkann added. \u201cFor a century, four generations have encouraged and strengthened it, cared for it in difficult times and celebrated it in many celebratory moments.<\/p>\n
Elkann, the grandson of Fiat king Giovanni ‘Gianni’ Agnelli, added: “We continue to support the team and look to the future to build a winning Juve.”<\/p>\n
Juventus has not won Serie A since winning nine consecutive titles from 2012 to 2020. The Turin club sacked manager Igor Tudor last month and hired Luciano Spalletti after a struggling start to the season.<\/p>\n

“Juventus is a renowned and successful club, and Exor and the Agnelli family have been stable and proud shareholders for over a century and will continue to contribute their fullest to the club and support the new management team in the implementation of a clear strategy to deliver strong results on and off the field.”<\/p>\n
