Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker will speak privately after Mohamed Salah claimed the club had “thrown him under the bus” and left him out of the squad.<\/h2>\n

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has admitted he has yet to speak to Mohamed Salah after his explosive interview on Saturday, but is determined to focus on the Champions League despite being unhappy with the current situation.<\/p>\n
Salah, who accused Liverpool of “throwing them under the bus” and insisted he had no relationship with manager Arne Slott, was left out of the squad for the next game against Inter Milan. Despite training with his Liverpool team-mates on Monday, Slott informed Salah that he would not travel to Italy.<\/p>\n
When asked about his conversation with Salah, Slott laughed it off as simply a “short” discussion and promised to assess the situation once Liverpool return home. Alisson, who shares a deep bond with Salah, will hold talks with Salah but maintains his support for Slott as Liverpool’s head coach.<\/p>\n

After Slott’s press conference, Alisson addressed reporters and was asked whether he had discussed Salah’s interview on Saturday. “I didn’t talk to Mo about it,” Alison admitted.<\/p>\n
“We don’t really leave the practice field and we spend a lot of time together, but there’s a bond. I’ll talk to him, but it’s private.”<\/p>\n
When asked for his views on the situation, Alisson admitted that he admired Salah’s contribution over the years and expressed his frustration at the turmoil within the team.<\/p>\n
“It’s not an easy situation,” Allison admitted. “I’ve been playing with Mo since I came to Europe. He’s a great guy and a legend at LFC. We’ve achieved a lot together.<\/p>\n
“I’m not happy, but we have a big challenge tomorrow and that’s what we’re focused on.”<\/p>\n
Given the current situation, Slott has not yet had a detailed discussion with Salah regarding his comments. The manager admitted he did not notice the crack until Saturday evening and is keen to hear Salah’s views directly.<\/p>\n
However, time is of the essence as Salah is scheduled to play against Egypt in the African Cup of Nations on December 15 and there is little room for the slot to mend fences. When asked about Salah’s future involvement, Slott was candid and cautiously optimistic, saying: “I strongly believe there is always the possibility of him returning as a player.”<\/p>\n
The idea that Salah might already be wearing a Liverpool shirt for the last time seems unfathomable, and goalkeeper Alisson hopes this proves to be just a minor setback rather than an irreversible farewell.<\/p>\n
“I hope he plays for the club again, but it’s a situation between Mo and the club,” the goalkeeper said. “I don’t think his purpose was to disrespect anyone. He had the freedom to say how he felt about his situation. How we react now is important.”<\/p>\n

Emotions may have been high for Salah after coming off the bench for three games in a row, but he insists his guaranteed playing time was part of the two-year contract extension he signed last season.<\/p>\n
Salah, who was not used in the 3-3 stalemate against Leeds, said: “Right now I’m sitting on the bench, but I don’t know why.<\/p>\n
“It seems like the club threw me under the bus. That’s how I feel. I think it’s clear that someone was trying to put all the blame on me.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
