Fortunately, they have already considered the perfect candidate, Antoine Semenyo, who is believed to have emerged as a January target.<\/p>\n

The winger established himself as one of the Premier League’s best forwards during his time at Bournemouth, and is believed to have a large following, with Liverpool also interested.<\/p>\n

The player has a release clause of around \u00a360 million, which is thought to be triggered in January. Liverpool could therefore avoid negotiations with the Cherries and enter into direct negotiations with Semenyo and his representatives.<\/p>\n

The Reds will struggle to bring in better wingers midway through the season, but this suggests a move for Semenyo would be a realistic possibility if Salah leaves.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola recently insisted that Semenyo is unfazed by rumors surrounding his future, saying: “Antoine is giving us a lot. I think he’s close to scoring and assisting and he’s not a number nine.”<\/p>\n

“He’s not a player we expect to score every game. I think he’s usually a very good threat winger for us and can continue to give us big numbers, but that’s not his main job.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“He has to do a lot of work for the team. I think he’s still a threat. He’s trying to help us every game, but I don’t see any change in his attitude.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, former England striker Darren Bent believes that by bringing Semenyo to Anfield, Liverpool could sign their own Gareth Bale.<\/p>\n

He told talkSPORT: “He’s one of those rare players, I call them unstoppable, and Gareth Bale was like that too. When I talk about unstoppables, I’m talking about their attributes.”<\/p>\n

“When Bale started moving, you couldn’t stop him. It’s the same with Semenyo. Once he starts moving, he outruns people and glides. The good thing about him is that he can go in either direction. I think he has the whole package.”<\/p>\n

“For a long time now, Liverpool have been able to rely on Salah on the right wing season after season, but don’t get me wrong, he’s one of the best players we’ve ever seen in this country.<\/p>\n

“But the signs are that he could potentially be slowing down a little bit. Now all of a sudden you have to start dealing with both sides.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
