Lionel Messi pulls off the impossible by dropping a no-look pass during training

Messi highlights his passion for Mexican soccer

While Mexico will be hosting its third World Cup, the United States will be hosting it for the second time and Canada will be hosting it for the first time, soccer has enjoyed greater enthusiasm on Mexican soil than of the three host countries.

Lionel Messi knows this because the Argentina captain spoke about Mexican soccer and Liga MX in an interview with TNT Sports.

“Well, I already knew about that, especially in Mexico, but I was a little surprised by the love for soccer in the United States and Canada. I didn’t know much about it, but I think there was also a growth and important change on the part of the fans of the game. He likes to enjoy the show, he enjoys the show, and he also noticed that they were passionate and had a tremendous amount of passion for the team.”

Where soccer is popular, especially in Mexico, there’s always been a great league, and there’s a lot of great teams in the league in terms of player strength and economics, so it’s going to be a lot of fun.

“I expect something special because both myself and the people are used to organizing great events. This is the most important event in the world of football and I think we will be prepared from scratch so that people can come and enjoy everything,” said the former Barcelona player.

Lionel Messi aims for first MLS title with Inter Miami

Messi will play his first MLS final on Friday at home to Thomas Muller’s Vancouver Whitecaps, who will take on Inter Miami.

The Argentine number 10 has already won the League Cup, a tournament involving clubs from MLS and Liga MX, shortly after his arrival in 2023.
