Villa manager Unai Emery has targeted the Brazilian as a long-term successor to Ollie Watkins, who was also signed by the Villans from the Bees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"mirror\">The Spaniard has been keen to sign a new forward since last summer but has yet to secure a replacement for John Duran since his departure in January. Villa could now make a move for Thiago in the January transfer window, but the price won&#8217;t be cheap.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"mirror\">Thiago joined Brentford from Club Brugge for a fee of \u00a330 million in 2024, but missed last season due to injury, but has been in great form so far this season.
