United have secured a 50 percent sale fee should the French team decide to profit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The former United star was rumored to be on the verge of a big-money move to Saudi Arabia in the recent summer transfer window, but no deal materialized. La Liga heavyweights Barcelona are also said to be keeping an eye on Greenwood, and are said to have scouted him during Marseille&#8217;s 6-2 win over Le Havre this season.<\/p>\n<p>Hansi Flick&#8217;s side are thought to be considering their attacking options for next summer, with Marcus Rashford currently on loan at Camp Nou. Rashford has attracted attention since his move, with Barcelona having an option to sign the England international for \u00a325m plus \u00a35m. Greenwood&#8217;s move to Camp Nou would see him reunite with his former United colleague.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Despite this, Spanish media have suggested that Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 24-year-old, potentially ending any chances of a reunion. The French club reportedly placed a \u00a370m price tag on Greenwood&#8217;s neck, according to sources, with Diego Simeone reportedly impressed with what Greenwood could bring to Atletico&#8217;s squad.<\/p>\n<p>Marseille manager Roberto de Zerbi was asked about Greenwood ahead of Tuesday night&#8217;s Champions League game against Newcastle United, and insisted the former United forward had suffered greatly from the incident during his stay at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He is a good man. He has paid a high price for what happened. He has paid a very high price. He has found the right environment for him. We helped him and showered him with love,&#8221; the Italian coach said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s a bit of an introvert, but I know him and his family.
