According to Brazilian media, the club has a net debt of more than 150 million euros (977 million reais), and a new relegation (already completed in 2023) could further worsen the economics of one of the historic Brazilian football clubs.<\/p>\n<p>In this scenario, the board is considering the drastic step of converting Santos into Sociedad Anonyma (SA) and selling up to 90% of the new entity&#8217;s capital to private investors.<\/p>\n<p>The club is valued at 2.2 billion reais, approximately 346 million euros, making it one of the most important deals in Brazilian football history.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ue-c-article__subheadline\">Chelsea, Qatar and Saudi Arabia interested<\/h2>\n<p>Although it hasn&#8217;t been officially launched yet, it&#8217;s already garnering international interest.
