Marcus Rashford has flourished at Barcelona after falling out of favor at Manchester United last season. The forward’s career at Old Trafford appeared to be over when Ruben Amorim insisted on keeping the 63-year-old goalkeeping coach on the bench, believing he lacked effort.<\/p>\n
The England international showed glimpses of what he can do in the second half of last season while on loan at Aston Villa, and he joined the Catalan giants on loan during the summer transfer window, where he impressed. He has scored five goals and provided seven assists in 13 games across all competitions, but was unable to stop Barca from losing 2-1 to arch-rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico on Sunday.<\/p>\n
But Rashford’s hard work continued during his impromptu return to Manchester this week. He uploaded a series of videos to Instagram showing himself working at Salford’s Performance Space gym.<\/p>\n
The forward captioned the video: “48 more hours since I reached my limit back home.” Meanwhile, in a recent interview on Bar\u00e7a’s official YouTube channel, Rashford revealed that he is loving life in Spain.<\/p>\n
He said: “I’m really enjoying my time in Spain. The weather is great. It’s a huge change. I’m learning every day and I’m really enjoying it.”<\/p>\n

“I want to stay here for a long time. I’m very close to Rooney (Bulge), Jules (Kounde) and Frenkie (De Jong). We’re a team where everyone fits together. We’re united.”<\/p>\n
“The team is great. I just need to be in the right position. I’ll keep working. I have to keep going to do my best. We have a lot of work to do this season.”<\/p>\n
He added: “I enjoy this football club and for anyone who loves football I think Barcelona is one of the most important clubs in the history of football, so it’s an honor to play here.”<\/p>\n
“I just believe that things happen as they are meant to happen. This is not the first time I have talked to Barcelona about the possibility of coming here. But whatever the reason, it didn’t happen in the past, so now is my chance to make it happen.”<\/p>\n
“I feel like there’s never been a better time than right now. People forget, but 23 years of my life were spent at Manchester United, so sometimes you need a change.”<\/p>\n
“I think that’s probably the case for me. Yeah, I’m enjoying everything. I don’t feel like there’s been a huge change in me. I just feel like it’s a new environment and culture and I was looking forward to coming here.”<\/p>\n
“It’s important to adapt and fit in as much as possible. I’m very hungry to keep improving.”<\/p>\n
