The goalkeeper has been allowed to leave Old Trafford following the arrival of Senne Lamence over the summer. Despite suffering a setback in his debut for Trabzonspor against Fenerbah\u00e7e, Onana has remained unbeaten since then.<\/p>\n<p>His side are currently on a four-game winning streak and have moved into second place in the table ahead of Saturday&#8217;s game against leaders Galatasaray. Trabzonspor sports correspondent Hasan Tuncel has been very impressed with Onana&#8217;s stint with the Turkish national team so far.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>When asked about how Onana had performed in his first few months at the club, Tansell told the Manchester Evening News: &#8220;In a word: fantastic.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnana&#8217;s debut match was against Fenerbah\u00e7e. Trabzonspor lost 1-0, but the story of that match was much deeper than the scoreline.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Trabzonspor&#8217;s goal was canceled, causing controversy and real tension on the pitch. Amidst that chaos, Onana&#8217;s leadership was outstanding. He calmed his teammates, used his experience and pulled off some amazing saves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From that moment on, not only the Turkish fans but everyone watching around the world realized that he was still a top-level goalkeeper. He maintained the same standard in subsequent games.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;His performance against Kayserispor was amazing. He saved almost every shot on target. Against Eyupspor, his two decisive saves helped keep Trabzonspor&#8217;s title hopes alive.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tansell added that Onana has been coaching young players behind the scenes, showing how the United loanee has a leading role within the dressing room.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So far he&#8217;s been perfect,&#8221; Tansell added. \u201cMore than a goalkeeper, he became a leader in the dressing room.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He personally coaches three young goalkeepers, Onuralp \u010cevikan, Ahmet Dogan Yildirim and Elorcan Colak, coaching them during and after training sessions. This coaching has earned him great respect within the club.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Onana seems to have found the perfect environment at Trabzonspor, but a permanent move seems unlikely.<\/p>\n<p>Tansell confessed: &#8220;The club is very happy with his performances, but given the transfer fee that Manchester United paid for him, a permanent deal seems financially difficult at the moment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, if Onana maintains this level and United lower their asking price, I have no doubt that Trabzonspor will be interested in a permanent transfer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For now, Onana&#8217;s focus is on coaching the club&#8217;s young goalkeepers and helping them develop.
