Barcelona midfielder Lamine Yamal is reportedly suffering from a painful illness for which there is no cure. The teenage sensation has missed several games this season with a groin injury and has had no shortage of discomfort. He was seen wincing in pain during last weekend’s defeat to Real Madrid in El Clasico.<\/p>\n

Yamal has already missed five games in all competitions and is said to be suffering from a chronic illness. According to Sport, he suffers from pubic pain, which causes muscle tension in public places. Doctors in Barcelona are said to be concerned that Yamal’s symptoms may be chronic, with no obvious treatment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lionel Messi suffered from similar issues during his time at Barcelona, \u200b\u200band the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner spoke about his experience in a 2019 interview.<\/p>\n

“Pvarzia is complicated,” he told Argentine media. \u201cI have been suffering from this disease for some time now, hardly training and missing all matches.<\/p>\n

“It’s not a problem that can be solved overnight. I’m better now, but I’m still not recovered and I need treatment.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Despite his condition, Yamal continues to put in match-winning performances for Barcelona. He has emerged as a key player for the Catalan giants, scoring two goals and providing five assists in six league games.<\/p>\n

Yamal broke through at Barcelona aged 15 and has already won La Liga twice and secured Euro glory with Spain last year.<\/p>\n

Coach Hansi Flick recently accused the national team of “failing to take care” of Yamal after he aggravated a groin injury in matches against Bulgaria and Turkey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Lamine joined the national team in pain, did not train and was on painkillers. He played 79 and 73 minutes, even though in every match his team was leading by three points,” the Barcelona manager said.<\/p>\n

“During the match he didn’t train. This doesn’t take care of the players. Spain has the best team in the world and they’re incredibly good in every position. I’m really sorry about this (situation).”<\/p>\n

“I’ve never spoken to[Spain national team coach Luis de la Fuente]. Maybe my Spanish isn’t very good and his English isn’t very good either. So this is a problem.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
