Sunderland moved to second place in the Premier League with a stunning 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Chelsea on Saturday, with Kemsudine Talbi scoring in stoppage time.<\/p>\n
Chelsea took the lead in the fourth minute at Stamford Bridge through Alejandro Garnacho, but Wilson Isidore equalized in the 22nd minute and Talbi scored the dramatic winner three minutes into stoppage time.<\/p>\n
“We know we are Sunderland. We have a great team with great players. We knew we could do the job and we showed it today,” Talvi said.<\/p>\n
Sunderland were just promoted to England’s top flight this season and are now within two points of leaders Arsenal, who will play Crystal Palace on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Defending champions Liverpool play Brentford later on Saturday and a win would see them overtake Sunderland.<\/p>\n
There was also a late winner at St James’ Park, with Bruno Guimar\u00e3es scoring in the 90th minute to give Newcastle a 2-1 victory over Fulham.<\/p>\n
Newcastle took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal from Jacob Murphy, but Fulham equalized in the 56th minute with a goal from Sasa Lukic.<\/p>\n
“We have to learn how to finish the game. In the first half we could have finished it at least 3-0,” Guimar\u00e3es said. “We had a lot of chances, but I’m glad we got the goal in the end. In the last few games, we’ve been punished at the end.”<\/p>\n
Manchester United play Brighton at Old Trafford later on Saturday and could move into fourth place with a win.<\/p>\n
