ROME (AP) \u2014 At this rate, it’s only a matter of time before that happens. real madrid<\/span> buy back Nico Pass from como<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old Argentina playmaker scored one goal and set up another as Como beat Juventus 2-0 away. Serie A<\/span> They suffered their first defeat of the season against the Bianconeri on Sunday.<\/p>\n

A product of Madrid’s youth system, Paz was sold to Como by the Spanish giants last year with a clause allowing him to be re-signed until June 2027 or at the end of this season.<\/p>\n

Pass, who has four goals and four assists, has contributed to eight of Como’s nine goals this season. <\/p>\n

The only players with such numbers in Europe’s top five leagues are Vinicius Junior (5 goals and 4 assists with Real Madrid) and Luis Diaz (5 goals and 4 assists with Bayern Munich).<\/p>\n

“I can understand when a player has the hunger and the right focus to get to the top, or if it’s temporary,” Como coach Cesc Fabregas said. “Nico can go as far as he wants. He has the talent and the physical qualities.”<\/p>\n

His two goals against Juventus were a highlight.<\/p>\n

Four minutes into the game, a set-piece saw Paz supply a perfect cross for Marc-Oliver Kemp to score from a corner kick.<\/p>\n

Then, towards the end of the second half, a pass collected a long ball from a counterattack, cut inside and, without even looking at the goal, sent a curved shot into the corner of the goal.<\/p>\n

Madrid will no doubt be keeping an eye on him as they face Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Former Arsenal manager and striker Arsene Wenger and Thierry Henry were also watching from the stands in Como. Fabregas, who was serving the second match of a two-match suspension for protesting, played alongside Wenger’s Henry at the London club.<\/p>\n

Como are level on points with Juventus and three points behind leaders Inter Milan, Napoli and Roma.<\/p>\n

AC Milan then won against undefeated Fiorentina at San Siro, giving them a chance to regain the lead.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Juventus have not won in over a month since defeating Inter 4-3 on September 13th.<\/p>\n

It was Como’s first win against Juventus in 75 years since 1952, ending a 23-game winless streak.<\/p>\n
