Now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Wharton&#8217;s future, suggesting that a decision on the England international&#8217;s future at Palace is likely to be taken after next summer&#8217;s World Cup rather than in the upcoming January transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Palace will not negotiate for January,&#8221; Romano said on his YouTube channel. &#8220;They want Adam Wharton to stay at the club and play a very important role in the story.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Then in the 2026 summer transfer window, probably after the World Cup, we will know if Wharton is there.
