Despite appearing in seven Premier League games and two in the UEFA Champions League, Wirtz has yet to register a goal or assist.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>It&#8217;s not the start the Reds were hoping for from their big-money signing, but will we see Wirtz come into his own soon after returning to Liverpool?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>His superb free-kick in Germany&#8217;s 3-1 World Cup qualifying win over Northern Ireland in September has been his only goal contribution this season, but manager Julian Nagelsmann is firmly convinced that he will soon be back to his best form to the delight of Liverpool fans.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>&#8220;I think that&#8217;s how it usually goes when you go to a new club or a new league. They next face fellow top players at Windsor Park on Monday night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>Wirtz will return to domestic duty as Liverpool look to end a third consecutive defeat in all competitions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>It is the first time that Slott&#8217;s tenure has come under any scrutiny since seamlessly taking over from manager Jurgen Klopp in the Anfield dugout.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mt-3 first:mt-0 lg:mt-4\">\n<p>The Reds host rivals Manchester United on October 19, before returning to play Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League before facing Brentford in the Premier League.
