WILLEMSTAD, Curacao (AP) \u2014 Goals from Livano Conencia and Kenji Gore gave Curacao a 2-0 win over Jamaica on Friday, moving the home team one step closer to its first World Cup appearance.<\/p>\n

Conencia took the lead in the 11th minute, and Gore added another goal in the 68th minute for the Blue Stars, who moved to first place in Group B after three games in the CONCACAF World Cup Final Qualifier.<\/p>\n

Also on Friday, Virgil Misijan scored in stoppage time to save Suriname from a 1-1 draw with Guatemala and take first place in Group A.<\/p>\n

Guatemala took the lead in the 75th minute with a goal from Darwin Lom, but a goal from Michijan in the 94th minute tied the game.<\/p>\n

Suriname earned five points, won the tie-break with Panama, and defeated El Salvador 1-0 at home to earn their first win of the final round and also earned five points.<\/p>\n

Jose Fajardo, who represented Panama in his first and only World Cup in Russia in 2018, scored in the 55th minute.<\/p>\n
